How can I use Pagefactor? :
1) If you see a "404 page not found" error, enter the URL in Pagefactor. We will display the new location URL if it is available. Pagefactor also makes it easy to access links for the most useful cache servers. Remember, this works for active pages as well.
2) Make it easy to use Pagefactor by adding the bookmarklet to the browser toolbar. With the bookmarklet, all the information can be accessed with a single click from any browser, when you visit any site.
Do I have to enter multiple entries for a bunch of similar URLs ?
No. If a website has moved to a new domain with the same path structure, add only the old domain name and the new domain name; and not every single page. All the pages for the old domain name will be generated with the new domain prefix. Similarly, if a directory has been moved around, add only the path (including domain name) to old directory and the path to the new directory. The most granular entries always takes precedence over others. For example: With a single entry, www.olddomain.com --> www.newdomain.com, all URLs for olddomain.com will be generated for www.newdomain.com. However, if you wish to override a single directory or path in the olddomain.com, add a new entry www.olddomain.com/onedir --> www.newdomain.com/someotherdir. This way, all URLs in onedir will point to someotherdir. All other URLs will maintain the same directory/path as in olddomain.com <
